Cartoonists Help Bring House Down

Sydney Morning Herald cartoonist Cathy Wilcox has received a commendation in this year's National Museum of Australia's Political Satire Prize for her cartoon None of Your Business. Bruce Petty, a cartoonist at the Fairfax newspaper The Age, took out the main prize with World of Finance, a comment on the Asian economic crisis. The winning cartoons, along with those by other Herald cartoonists, including Ron Tandberg, John Shakespeare and Alan Moir, will be part of the exhibition Bringing the House Down at the House Gallery of Old Parliament House in Canberra.
