Winners Of The Young Cartoonists Competition

IN TERM 3, the Age Education Unit announced its Young Cartoonists' competition. Judging has now been finalised. The first prize winner in each category will receive $150. Second and third placegetters will receive certificates.

The winners in each category are: Category 1 (aged 12-15): first place - Steffan van Lint, Marcellin College; second place - Amanda Cupples, Melbourne Girls' Grammar School; third place - Nicholas Oogjes, Watsonia Heights Primary School.

Category 2 (aged 15-18): first place - David Schaak, Paisley campus, Bayside Secondary College; second place - Thomas Smart, Colac Technical College; third place - Patrick Nolan, De La Salle College.
